Thelicense must be obtained at least 24 hours prior to the service andboth parties need to be present. Birth Certificates and photoidentification is required. If either party has been divorced, you mustbring all divorce papers. If either party has been married before andyour previous spouse is deceased, please bring the death certificate. The fee is $40.00.If you are unable to come to the Town Hall during regular business hours, please call for an appointment that can be arranged at your convenience.If you purchased your marriage license in the Town of York and need a record of the marriage, you can apply for the record:Birth & Death RecordsThe Town Clerk is also the Registrar of Vital Statistics. This office is the repository for all birth and death records of anyone who was born or passed away in the Town of York, beginning in 1881 to present. If you need a record, you may apply using the following forms. If you do not need a certified copy, please use the genealogyform.
