COVID-19 Update (18 positive and 121 negative)
As of the morning of 3/31, there are 18 confirmed cases and 121 negative test results in Livingston County.
Per Jennifer Rodriguez, Livingston County Public Health Director , the Livingston County Health Department is working around-the-clock to monitor all COVID-19 cases and track the spread of the disease in order to protect the health and safety of our residents. Social distancing continues to be one of our best defense mechanisms during this time. We continue to urge our community members to stay at home, if at all possible, and only leave the house for essential needs, work, or physical activity.
If you have a fever, cough or trouble breathing, please call your health care provider for an assessment of your symptoms. If you feel as though you may have had exposure to COVID-19, please call LCDOH at 585-243-7290.
For town related matters, the York Town Hall remains closed but office functions remain in operation by contacting us at 585-243-3128.
The highway and water/sewer departments are also still operational and working per recommended state guidelines.
The Recycling Center will remain open on Saturday mornings from 8am-10:30am for bagged refuge only. All visitors must stay in their vehicles.
If anybody has any questions or concerns, please contact us at 585-243-3128.
Please check back for any updates.
